No birds, though.

I saw Punkin nosing something around on the floor in my office, so I went to take a look. Turned out it was a honeybee. I was going to pick it up and put it outside, but before I could, Sterling ran in to find out what was going on. He immediately went after the bee.

Well, I gave up trying to get it out of his mouth, and sat back down. In a few moments, he suddenly jumped back and started pawing at his mouth.

My guess is the bee stung him. He didn't have any more interest in it, and the stinger appeared to be partially pulled out, at least, so that was the end of that.

Now...if another one gets in, care to bet if he'll mess with it?

The first job I ever had, when I was 14, was for a beekeeper. I've been stung lots of times. But I weigh about 8 times what Sterling does.

When we had both Wickett and his brother Truman, Wickett would chase and kill the wasps, but if you caught one and held it for Truman to sniff, he would squint his eyes and quickly back off. My conclusion: He got stung by one.
