Yes, he doesn't waste time. I was giving the poor guy all these guidelines of when we should be engaged..like we should live in the same city first, and we should be together for at least a year...etc...but then I realized its silly to put limitations or timing on something like this. We know this is what we want, so there is no reason to wait

His mom was very happy..his dad at first pulled the "you don't even know her"..but then after he met me he said it just feels right (I had met his mom on a previous trip but his dad was out of town.)

We haven't told my mom yet, we are going over for dinner on Saturday and will tell her then . She loves Josh so I'm sure it will be good news for her.

It was quite fast. I was worried at first what people would think..and then I realized "hey wait, I am engaged to my dream man and if people that care about us can't be happy..I can't worry about it, because we are happy". And really, most people are very happy for us.

He might come to London for school in Sept, but if not I will come here to Ottawa next year some time.

I didn't want to say anything about that being fast so I'm glad others did! But hey, it's not like I have room to talk. My boyfriend and I moved in together 6 months after we started dating! What's the difference?! We would be engaged, but I really really want a house in the country before that happens. I do however put limitations on something like that!

I'm happy for you though! He sounds like a great guy! And if Trout likes him....

Don't worry about what other people think. It's your life and if you feel it's "right", then that's just what it is

My cousin Harvey and his wife were married 3 weeks from the day they met. They've been together for, gosh, must be over 30 years now. And to see them together you would think they are newly weds. They still sit close to each other, they still hold hands etc.

They had met through mutual friends and were so taken with each other that they spent everyday for a week together. Both were freaked out about how they felt and thought they were moving too fast so decided they needed to slow things down. They took a "break" from seeing each other. Both were miserable! His friends and her friends told them after a few days to stop fighting it and just call! They were married about 1 week later.

They don't have any kids. Neither wanted any. But they have several kitties.

True love doesn't come around all that often, and when you find that one person that you connect with on such a deep level, go with the flow and let the tide take you both were fate has destined you to be
