Well, my Bonnie (devon rex) went into heat about 5 days ago and when I was loving her up, I noticed her nipples to be really quite hot pink. I wondered if this is normal for a cat in heat to have that symptom? She is on the last legs of the heat though, she isn't crying at me anymore LOL. Her nipples are now normal color. She is bald all under her stomach so it's very easy to see changes occur.

Anyone wanna try to guess? I appreciate all input.

if she isn't a breeding queen, my only advice is to get her spayed, it is much better for her health, you prevent the risk of pyometra and ovarian uterine cancer, and reduce the risk of mammary cancer later in life.

It may have been more noticable cause you have less fur. I think its normal. I don't really remember my rexes doing it but its possible
