I had my cat neutered a week ago, and he hasn't been able to keep food down. He plays and acts like normal, but the vomiting is sporadic but a large amount
The timeline of the sickness went like this :
Monday 4/28/2008: Vomiting Foam and Drooling (vet said it was just him coming out of the anestetic)
Tuesday 4/29/2008: No vomiting, a few bites of food, drinking normally, using the litterbox normally
Wednesday 4/30/2008: No vomiting, normal food and water intake, using litterbox normally
Thursday 5/1/2008: Vomiting up food, 2-3 times through out the day, eating and drinking normally
Friday 5/2/2008: Normal food and water intake, normal litterbox usage.
Saturaday 5/3/2008: Normal food and water intake, normal litterbox usage, vomited once after eating
Sunday 5/4/2008: Started a mix of changing foods, normal food intake, normal water intake, normal box usage. No vomiting
Monday 5/5/2008: Normal eating, threw up once, normal water intake and box usage.
TODAY Tuesday 5/6/2008: Threw up food eaten last night, threw up 2 times won't drink, wont eat anymore and peed on the floor away from his box. (He never has accidents)
I'm going to get him to the vet tomorrow, but I would just like some feedback from anyone that may have had similar experiences or knows something that would help him hold down some food till then, and so I've got some sort of idea of what may be going on when I get him into the vet tomorrow. Thank you.
