I have another to add. The Exorcism of Emily Rose. That movie sent chills up and down my spine. I haven't had a movie do that in a long time.

Anything with werewolves!!! Seriously! I can't even read books about it. And there was an episode of CSI and CSI New York that eluded to werewolves, and I couldn't watch either of those.

And anything hack and slash. Not that I find those scarey, but they are just gross!

Also, if something is too "psychological" scarey, I can't watch those either because they stress me out so badly.

There isn't a movie made that scares me! I even try to watch the so called "scary" ones by myself, but that didn't work either! I always think they're too funny to be scared! I LOVED the blair witch project and the second one was good too, I use to fall asleep at night to the blair witch movie! Yup, I own it!
I watched Candyman when I was a kid and me and my best friend at the time decided to try it, I think that ruined me for scary movies because nothing happened in that bathroom and I havn't really been scared of movies since! I watch all the news one for fun though!

The only movie that ever scared me was Carrie. The original one freaks me out. I rented the remake back when it came out and it wasn't as bad. I saw Carrie for the first time when I was really young and I have only watched it once since just to see if it still scared me.

Anything with zombies. I mean, feed me to vampires, werewolves or the boogie man, but keep zombies away from me. I even have a plan on how to survive a zombie attack and defend my home efficiently.
I like zombie films thogh, if for nothing else than educational purposes.

I'm usually not easily scared, but aside from the creepy undead, the original Japanese Ringu-series is pretty distressing. I like Asian horror in general. A new-ish Spanish film The Orphanage also had some good scares.

I would find The Shining scary otherwise, but I just can't stop drooling over Overlook Hotels funky carpets.

The one that freaked me out was an older one called the surgon (sp?). Omg that scared me so bad i slept with the lights on.

the newer ones are so stupid. OMG a monster is after me, i am a helpless little girl i have already either showed my boobs or got layed, lets run upstairs where there is no chance of excape! Or better yet, omg a psychokiller is on the loose, lets all get drunk, high, and have wild sex and stay in a group so we can all get slaughtered and not defend ourselves!

and why in the heck do they not EVER grab the security guards or cops gun? He is always one of the first to die and noone ever grabs his gun, and if they do, they dont grab the extra magazine of rounds he dropped!

Not me, i would grab a freakin AK47 from the nearest pawn shop and hide, if i did get found i would simply start blowin crap away!

Wolf creek really freaked me out because I know how remote that part of Australia is. I hate anything with gore and unneccessary violence such as Saw, Wolf Creek, Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc.

I like horrors such as The Ring even though they scare me too!!

I am a scary movie fanatic so it takes a lot to get to me..However that said there are two movies that I will never watch again because they both freaked me out completely...
Cujo because it could easily happen and An American Psycho because the guy in it looks exactly like one of my brother's buddies.

Oooh I forgot to add 28 Days Later. I almost had a heartattack when I saw it in the theater at the beginning when the zombie comes through the window. Zombies freak me out anyway, but then RUN at you!! That's creepy!!

Also The Ring. Still makes me shudder just to think about it!

I used to be a huge scary movie fan, grew up on Halloween, etc. and LOVED them! For some reason though, as I've gotten older I just can't watch them anymore. They scare me senseless now, when they never did before

I certainly can't watch anything with zombies and no way will I ever watch The Grudge. Something about those little pasty kids hiding under the desk or whatever is just terrifying! Just the commercial scared me.

I DID go see The Omen on the big screen though when they remade that recently, because that was one of my favorites as a kid!

One movie that totally freaked me out was "Amityville Horror" (the original one). I saw it in the theater back in the 1970's. At the time I was living with my brother and my room was in the basement. There was a semi finished bathroom below the stairs and the door was a piece of plywood on hinges. It looked the same as the room in the movie!

I absolutely couldn't go down to the basement after seeing that movie. And for weeks, actually months, I slept on the couch in the living room with all of the lights on. My brother or one of his kids had to go downstairs to get my clothes etc, because I just couldn't go down there.

To this day I can't watch that movie, and to this day basements freak me out. If a basement has open stairs without anything under it, that's ok, but if they are finished stairs and there is something built under the stairs, there is no way in heck you can get me down there shy of pushing me down the stairs.

OMG!!!! Me too! My sister and I used to play in the woods all the time when we were growing up. I can't remember how many times we got lost. Thank goodness the woods by our cottage had some roads in them, and we had the common sense to follow them! (or we might still be wandering around up there!)

I love the Exorcist, but am having a hard time finding the (lame) sequel Exorcist II: The Heretic. The only horror/scary moves I watch are older ones like THE WEREWOLF VS VAMPIRE WOMAN.
