Oh, he is gorgeous! I did hear somewhere that there is rarely such a thing as a true black cat. They have to have white hairs somewhere. I don't know if that is true, but my Sassy was black, and she did have 3 white hairs at the base of her tail. A few of the barn cats look all black, but I've been able to find a few stray white on all of them.

he is actually brown in the sunlight and you can see tabby markings on him too.

those silly white hairs appear randomly all over his body plus that cluster on his chest and another on his tummy.
