hello, newbie in Austin

Hey there, I'm Jessica. I live with my boyfriend, and we just recently took in an abandoned kitty that found his way to our doorstep a few weeks ago. We've named him Crackerman *named after a Stone Temple Pilots song*. He's a ginger colored kitty, and we are estimating he's about 5 - 6 months old. I'll be sure to post pics of him in the right forum.
This little guy is the light of our life and we love him! Even before Crackerman, I've always had a special place in my heart for cats, and had 2 previous kittys when I lived at home with my parents.

Anyway, just thought I'd make an intro post. Hope to learn a lot and make some new friends around here.

Hi Carly and Kitty - welcome to the site. I used to live in Austin in the seventies and have very fond memories of my time there. I used to go to the Armadillo World HQ frequently. Moved back to UK in 1979. I have six cats and two dogs - funnily enough my very first dog, Tigger, I found on David St. in Austin. I brought her back with me (horrible quarantine, but it was worth it) and she lived well into old age. Still missed. Best wishes, Patricia
