Apparently, infection is not a big concern after all, and Sheri doesn't expect any problem with having visitors.

She says Lee is "so proud" of the card/scroll we sent, and he's showing it off to everybody who comes in!
He thanks us all for our good wishes.

The move to the new house did take place, and all is well on that end. Persi and Alley are staying with Sheri's sister for the moment, and they seem to be perfectly happy there.

So it's all good news, and Sheri reiterated that they're both looking forward eagerly to the meetup on the 31st!
This is such better news! Lee, Sheri and Persi and Alley, are all still in my prayers.
Thank you so much, Carol, for taking the time to make the card, take it to them, and then continuing to update us. Without your hard work, we'd all be crazy with worry!!!

What fantastic news! I'm so glad to hear that he is doing better. Carol, the card is fantastic... I can't blame Lee for wanting to show it off.
Continued that he's home soon and able to enjoy your TCS meet up.

I'm glad Lee is starting to improve. Poor Lee and Sheri must be so stressed with everything that has gone on.

I'm just catching up with this - I'm so glad to hear that the procedure seems to have done some good for Lee and that he's looking forward to being moved to a regular room soon. Loads of vibes coming from across the pond that he is fully recovered and home soon

i can't help but think that him stressing over Persi made him more susceptible to the infection... there's been research that shows that stress lowers your immune system.
continued & headed slightly south of me!
