Update on Lee (Persi & Alley) -- please read

She also said that they remain determined to follow through with the TCS meetup on May 31, and Lee has repeatedly asked her to work with me to make sure it happens, bless his heart. I hope he'll be well enough by then to enjoy it!

I for one am happy to hear that the meet-up isn't going to be cancelled, but I'm more concerned with Lee's health than anything else. If his recovery process is gonna be in any danger, I'd rather see the meet-up postponed, than to take that risk. Are they really sure that Lee is up to it??

I'm sorry to hear that he's still hurting badly, but I'm glad he's doing better.

And thanks again, Carol, for everything you've done. You're a sweetheart!

Good grief, its taken me all afternoon to read thru these threads, and am sending Lee all the "get well soon" vibes that I can muster.......mind you, they may be weak ones, 'cuz I've been home yesterday and today with what I thought was a bad allergy attack....nope, doc said I too have pneumonia, so I can definitely feel for Lee!, At least thank God I'm at home with my furbabies.......thats a lot of comfort to me ......is a pity they can't sneak Persi into ICU, lol!

The boys and I send lots of get-well and prayers to Lee.

I have been out of town for a wedding, and am just catching up with this thread. I am so sorry to hear Lee is so sick. I am sending out prayers and vibes for him and his loved ones. A serious illness can cause so much stress for the loved ones as well, so make sure you take care of yourself as much as possible. It is not being selfish, it is keeping yourself strong for Lee and your kitties. Thanks for all the updates.

I spoke to Sheri a few minutes ago, and she says Lee is doing much better! He's still in ICU, but should be moving to a regular room in a day or two. Apparently, infection is not a big concern after all, and Sheri doesn't expect any problem with having visitors.

She says Lee is "so proud" of the card/scroll we sent, and he's showing it off to everybody who comes in! He thanks us all for our good wishes.

The move to the new house did take place, and all is well on that end. Persi and Alley are staying with Sheri's sister for the moment, and they seem to be perfectly happy there.

So it's all good news, and Sheri reiterated that they're both looking forward eagerly to the meetup on the 31st!
