I recall hearing about "one pole" or "one hill" vegetable gardens. This is where you grow a variety of vegetables all together in one spot. It seems like it was something like 3 stalks of corn, one tomato plant, one bean plant, and one squash plant. Something like that. Anyone heard of it?

I sure have!!! Our local garden center has a kit! I thought about getting it, but I don't have a whole lot of room and I already have a few garden plants.

We have a spot in the back yard where Dottie had a failure of a rose bush, and I'm thinking of digging it all up and planting one there.

Does anyone have a reference for the kit?

As a former master gardener and a veggie gardener who lives near a indian reservation I've heard of it but I don't think it includes a tomato plant. Its seems like it corn and squash though.

Check out this website for your state: www.texasextension.tamu.edu for veggie gardening info.
