So I don't take over the other thread...

Just wondering for those who have a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, what brand you got, which model, which mask, which humidifier and why you chose what you did? Also, did your insurance cover it?

My dad's away on business so he has his with him, but I can look at it when he gets back... his is several years old at this point though so I'm sure there are better ones out there now... and I have no idea if insurance covered it, his work has switched insurance since he got it and I know that now with United Healthcare they don't cover crap, but maybe Aetna did when they had that

i got a Horizon LT, with an over the nose mask. i tried using the humidifier, but didn't find it did much of anything... i also tried the nasal pillows mask, & it made me sneeze all day the following day, so gave that up.
i chose the mask model i did get because i have a small nose, & small masks are hard to find!
the machine was the one the medical equipment company provided - i didn't have a choice. might've been the only one the insurance would cover - i really don't know.
my insurance paid for the machine, & also covers a new mask & hose twice a year.
