My motor scooter was stolen from right under my nose at work today.

I feel so sick. I don't think they will be able to get it back.

The other staff at work are shocked too as they never lock their cars...looks like they will be.

I am sorry, I hope you do it back

Scooters are cheap here, and the premium costs more than the scooter is worth. It just means I will have to buy a new one. Maybe a vespa this time...I love vespas.

Aww Kellye that SUCKS!!! I know how bad and disbelieving you feel when you come outside and see your vechicle stolen.
BTW, Vespas rock! And Christchurch is the perfect city for one.

It certainly is - thats why its so hard to find a parking spot anymore, they are always jampacked with scooters.

A guy I know fixed up a 1965 vespa - its a beauty!

That stinks that someone would steal your scooter! I had my car stolen from me one time, it was the first time me and jake had gone out after having our first baby and we went to the movies, we got back to pick up Angel and it was december so it was very cold. I left the car running, I come back out with Angel and jake and Jake says the cars gone, I laugh and continue walking with angel, then I look and see my car really was gone! We called the cops and everything, they found the car, fingerprinted the whole thing (keep in mind it was a silver lumina, and they use black fingerprinting stuff) and the car was almost completly black! They never found out who did it but at least I got it back! I hope you get your scooter back!!

We had two cars stolen in a fairly short time. One was an '87 Cadillac Brougham that was a nice car, but old enough that I didn't have comprehensive insurance on it, just liability. But they did enough damage to it in the first 15 minutes they had it that it went from a pretty good $3000 car to a pretty poor $1000 car.

The second was my '97 Ford F150 pickup. It was paid for, and had just 40,000 miles on it. Came out of Fry's in Arlington, TX, and it was gone. It was in perfect shape, not a scratch on it. I hadn't even had to buy new tires for it.

Aww I'm so sorry. Why do people have to do crap like that? It just makes me mad. And I know how you feel about feeling violated. I had my car broken into years ago and they took my stereo, a cd player and about 100 CD's. It was in front of my house and for the next couple years I'd have to get up and look outside everytime I heard something out front. It sucks.
