Hilary on the Bill O'Reilly Show on Fox News

I waited to see if anyone else would post about this, but I see no one has.

Has anyone watched her? It was on in two parts, Part I was last night and Part II, tonight.

I have seen snippets and have to say I am impressed by Hilary.

FINALLY, someone has asked her some good, hard questions and she answered and did NOT EVADE the questions.

I haven't seen it all, it comes on again in 45 minutes and I will watch the entire thing.

I heard O'Reilly ask her, "would you crack down on the sanctuary cities"
and she didn't beat around the bush she just said, "NO, and I will tell you why"

Although I don't agree with that, I was impressed that she stood up and told it like she sees it.
If it MUST be a Democrat, I hope it is Hilary.

On a small side note, Bill O'Reilly was talking to Greta Van Susteren and he was saying that on moveon.org's website they trash Hilary BAD and Hilary and Obama have both been warned to stay away from Fox News. Moveon.org is so lame. Glad that Hilary had to guts to step away from those horrible people on moveon.org who hate America.

So, did anyone else watch Hilary and Bill?

i saw it on the net.

she did handle herself very well.
I did not agree with her on several points.
sanctuary cities for one.
and also increase in tax on the oil compains, which would just hurt the consumer more. in way of higher gas prices and give them less of a reason to find more oil.

but anyway like i said she did do well.

yea, i dont really read Moveon.org that much as it normaly makes me want to vomit. however in the past when ih ave looked at it, they where blasting her much the same as they do rep.

Oh no!!!! I'm so sad I missed it! I like it when our canidates don't side step questions and answer them honestly and without hesitation!

P.S. I'm an Iowa Delegate for Hillary!

Bill O'Reilly has asked Barak to come on his show also. There is no way Barak would have the guts to go head-to-head with Bill O'Reilly like Hilary did, no way.

And for those that would ask, "why should Obama go on Bill O'Reilly's show"
I would answer, Bill O'Reilly's show gets THE very highest ratings of any cable news show, by far. He beats out all the rest of the cable news channels by far, EVERY night.

Obama couldn't handle it, he would start stuttering and him-hawing and then probably cry like a baby.

its all in her plan. She is hoping to get more middle of the road , and rep, to cross over and vote for her. SO i think she was trying to put on a more of a I am really in the middle thing.

i am getting the idea she would sooner see mccain win then obama.

I have been hearing all kinds of theories. Such as, if she loses the nomination, she wants McCain to win so she can give it another go in 2012.

Hey I'm glad Hillary went on Bill's show. She's going to have a tougher audience than that if she's elected president.

I also agree with you that I'd like to see Obama on Bill's show as well. I want to see how he takes rapid fire questions, and a host that doesn't agree with him... on anything.

Oh my, oh my, the far-left net bloggers are furious that the candidates are appearing on Fox News. ha ha ha ha

There is some comfort for them though, Obama will NEVER show his face on Bill O'Reilly.

My respect for her went up quite a bit after watching her on O'Reilly, I have to admit.

:does her best vampirac impression: Yes, Cindy, come to the dark side. Let us show you how wonderful it can be. :envelopes Cindy in her dark, voluminous cape:

Hehe, just kidding. Seriously, though, I am a serious Hillary supporter even though I had been pretty proud of Obama when he first announced his candidacy, and Hillary is actually a little more conservative than I like (unless you ask Obama supporters because on one hand they scream that Obama and Hillary are precisely the same on the issues but when asked why not vote for Hillary in that case, then they scream that she's too conservative. ) Anyway...even though I am a Hillary supporter I watched both of the O'Reilly interviews and I thought that they were great. I really thought when I watched it that I was going to end up peeved with the way it was going to go, but I came out with a sense of "wow, that didn't go at all the way I expected it to". I am very impressed with the way that she handled herself.

I had to giggle at O'Reilly's question to her about how she liked the fact that the only news station that was giving her a "fair and balanced" coverage was Fox News. I thought that was a pretty amusing by play between the two of them.

The truth of it though, is that Obama will most likely not show up on Fox, or in debates, or anywhere because.. he can't handle it. It's my personal feeling that he's not presenting the answers he believes to be the truth, but is presenting the answers that he feels the public wants to hear. You can tell when he's doing this because he fumbles around and can't get his speech together, and I really have no idea where America is getting this whole great orator thing from, because the man is really not that well-spoken.

Previously, I have been a supporter of moveon.org. When they endorsed Obama, my respect for them went way down. They have been sending "hate Hillary" messages around, but hey, you know, so have a lot of groups. I personally refuse to read anything they send out now, and the fact that it still lands in my inbox is due to the fact that I've been too lazy to remove myself from their list.

However, it seems to be the thing to do to bash Hillary (and I direct this to the liberal groups, not the conservative ones). Obama's daily mails are evil to her, while he preaches that he does nothing of the sort. Hillary's only bashing, and really, I don't even consider what she has said to be bashing, has come in defense of statements made about her or at times when she is being forced to make some statement because there has been an attack on her. It is not Hillary tearing apart the democratic party, it is Obama.

Imp, I think Hillary is more middle of the road. I certainly view her as more conservative than I am, but I cannot conciously vote for a candidate who I feel is a liar, and who will say and do anything to get into office, even if he *says* he's in support of the same things I am.

As for her hoping McCain gets it, well, I dont' know how true that is.. but I have to say, that being anti-Obama myself, *I'd* rather see McCain get into office than see Obama get it, and at least some of you know how liberal I am. It's a far shorter step for someone who is middle-of-the-road.

But anyway, I was pretty impressed with that interview and the amazing thing is, she did so well with it that even the hard core Obama supporters that they interviewed afterwards couldn't find fault with her interview. They really had to stretch to find anything negative.

I really hope Obama gets on there.

Don't worry!

I was just glad to hear her be firm, take a stand, even though I don't agree with much of what she said. I detest waffling from a candidate, it means, IMO, they are phony and weak. Obama is weak and a coward, IMO, and Heaven help us if he is the Democratic candidate for President

McCain is going to be on Bill O'Reilly this coming Thursday if anyone cares to hear what HE has to say.
