yesterday i picked up my older cat frisky, and when i picked her up i noticed that ther stomach seems to be a little hardish...is this something i should be worried about? when it comes to her, since she is almost 11, every little thing worries me...

she normally hides during the day to get away from tiger, so i have no idea if its sudden or not. i really do not have the extra money to take her to the vet, as horrible as that sounds, which is why i was asking. stupid taxes screwed me. i actually had to pay my city tax since the place i work for only takes the city i work in out of my pay. stupid stupid stupid

How hard is hard--like is it just firm or is it taut? Is she eating and drinking normally? Is she using the litterbox regularly?
