how does this work making signatures of your cat? does it cost money? do you go to a website? i want to make one.

The easiest way is to post a message in the signature thread, asking someone to do one for you, and either post or PM some pix of your cat for them to work with. There are some amazing designers on this site. And no, they don't charge, though I think it is nice to acknowledge their work. If you want to make one yourself, then do it using photoshop or some other edit programme, upload the finished sig to a picture storing site like Photobucket and then go to the 'edit signature' part of your profile to download it. ALso all free. But make sure you follow the rules as to sizing.

If you want to make on yourself you will need some sort of picture editor. I downloaded Microsoft Picture It 7.0 off of downloader.com for free. It's an old version, but it works fine for making siggies.

Sorry! I forgot to tell you how to use it! I forget that I never knew how to do it before I joined TCS! All you have to do is save the photo in photobucket and then paste the link into your signature box. You click on "edit signature" to find the area you paste the link. You might be able to just copy the picture and paste it in that box. I'm not entirely sure, I've never tried.

If you look in that thread, there is a list of the sig rules, you can only have one line of text with your green signature banner and not all the other stuff.
