I might have missed the Hitler-Stalin thing at this point, I'm pretty tired.

I have to say that the Muppet Show theme song has been playing in my head since I read this thread.

You have certainly lost me. The names refer to hotels. Can't exactly picture that Jim Henson was into sending any other message...

Oops, my bad, as well. The 2 guys were Statler and Waldorf. Just looked it up on the net. Well, I knew they were named after hotels....

Ohhhhhh, look what I've started!!!

I'm hoping to get one of the "Best of The Muppet Show" DVDs from the "Easter Bunny".

The most sensational, inspirational, Muppetational...inspirational.... This is what we call the Muppet Shoooooooooooowwwww!

(Okay, I know those probably aren't the right lyrics. When I can't think of things I make them up...
)

Statler and Waldorf... I have this horrible problem where I compare people to them...lol.

You are such a smart 17 year old....here I
am interacting with you just like we are the same age and agreeing with you and loving it! either that means you are wise beyond your years or I am a bit immature!!!! I'd rather think the first!!!!
BTW...can I adopt you as a daughter...you are SO cool!!!!!

I loved the Muppet shows...how well I remember them!!! I loved the Swedish chef! Anyone else remember him? You couldn't understand a dang thing he said but he was still hilarious!!! :laughing:
LOL! You can adopt me if you want...but you might have to fight with my parents!

I feel loved.

I remember little bits of the Swedish Chef. My favorite is the Chocolate Mousse skit... "put dee chocolate, on dee moose!"

My fave part of "The Muppet Show" was when Jonathan Winters took the "Jekyll and Hyde potion" and rampaged on the stage, pulling cute bunnies out of their holes, and throwing them!

It's a traditional song... A LOT of singers who record for kids have sung it.
