Normally if Popsie feels he needs to lap up the water in the tub and there's none in there it's no big deal. He'll just go drink from his water bowl. Twice now he's begged me to put water in the tub so at first I just refreshed the water in his bowl because I'd rather him drink from there than the tub. Well he wouldn't have it and I don't want him to be thirsty so I stop up the drain and let a little water collect so he can drink.
I'd probably sever a limb if he wanted me too.

Lol I have never gone to that extent. But when I get a bath I allow Smidgeon to drink out of the tub before the water is soapy. He's also one to randomly jump in swim a lap and get out lol. Loves to drink from and swim in the toilet too.

LOL-Pan has us trained to turn the bathroom faucet on 3-4 times a day so he can get a drink.....sometimes I have to wait to spit out my toothpaste until he is finished "wetting his whistle"! LOL! The tub will probably be his next request!

When I brush my teeth, Arwen sits on the edge of the sink and waits til I have finished, then she either bats her paw under the cold water tap, or sticks her head near it to drink.

Other times she will get me to follow her to the bathroom by mewing at me, then she will jump at the sink for me to turn the tap on..
