The video has apparently been banned from the internet.
After doing some google searching, I managed to locate a link to a collage campus site, but that link gave a 404 error so it must have been shut down. I found another link which indicated the video was banned. By the sounds of the article it was written by those directly involved in the "release" of the video.
I can't post the link because it has some words in it that are censored here, but one paragraph says the following:
|But this video has been BANNED from the Internet. Try to find it. You can't find it anywhere. Google is even removing the indexing from its database. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a free video sharing site to keep it hosted. Every video sharing site we have tried is shutting it down. We cannot understand this? The identity of the individual is unknown so we do not believe there is any harm in allowing the world to see the truth.
Toward the end of their spiel they indicate that they are sending the video out by email feed.
Why can't people just take the hint that what they are doing is wrong and demeaning and to just leave it be. The poor man is probably embarrassed enough, and it's only a matter of time before his name gets leaked.
From the stand point of a medical professional, we do come across things that are well, bizaar. And yes, sometimes so bizaar that it's hard not to laugh, but we certainly try not to do it in front of the patient.
I have watched many surgeries, and for the most part the staff are really professional. However there are some strange things that do take place in the OR because it's basically just another work environment. People play music, laugh, tell jokes, share stories of their weekends etc. And yes, unfortunately sometimes the patient on the table can end up being the butt of the joke (no pun intended).
However, I have to ask why this procedure was being filmed in the first place. To me the violators are the ones who did the filming and those that released the video.
