My mom and dad are on vacation and they left all their cards at home. Well I emailed my mom and told her I was going to use her debit card for stuff and pay her back this Friday. Stupidly I didn't wait for her to reply and used like 20 bucks. Well she just sent me an email saying not to use it because there isn't money to cover it and then her account will be overdrawn.
I can pay the fee if it is I just don't want her to find out because it don't want her worrying on vacation. I don't know if her bank will email her if the account is overdrawn or not. I feel so bad now.

Hopefully it won't even be overdrawn. I didn't mention to her what I wanted it for so maybe she thinks I was going to spend a bunch on it. I know she keeps more than 20 dollars in her account.

Yikes, that sucks! But if it was a debit card it shouldn't let you get overdrawn. If I end up trying to spend more than I have it says "insufficient funds" and that's EMBARRASING!

Actually I just went to their house and looked at her checking account balance to make sure and there's plenty in there. She might have just said that so I wouldn't use the card. I probably should have waited until I heard back from her before I used it but it's too late now.

Well I guess all you can do is go down to the bank and deposit the $20 and apologize when she gets back. Lesson learned
