I know questions like this have been asked probably a million times, so I apologize up front.

We got our cat about 4 months ago and she was always really good about going in her litter box. Then about a month ago she got a bladder infection. She'd squat and leave little drops of pee on the carpet. So we took her to the vet and got her an antibiotic and gave it to her as directed. We thought the peeing problem had stopped. But, nope! Last night I was cleaning and saw a large, FRESH pee spot on the carpet, right behind her litterbox. We are really careful about keeping her litterbox clean and scoop it 2-3 times a day.

We don't know what to do to get her to stop. We've cleaned up the spots were she peed before like crazy...using some kind of pet odor remover, Spot Magic carpet stain remover and carpet freshener.

So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

How deeply did you soak the spot? I'd suggest soaking the spot all the way to the floor boards if you can, with a good enzyme cleaner... And maybe get her checked again, just to be certain.

Hey,

If your cat is still peeing on the floor, maybe the bladder infection is not cured yet and you need to take her to the vet again.

What I can suggest you is to buy another litter box for her, because when an infection exist, it's hard to hold the urine, and with to boxes accessible, it just might solve the problem.

If you follow my advise, I would love to hear if it worked.

Good Luck
