Today is 24 years since Vickie was killed

Vicki was a Lab/Irish Setter Mix. She was one of the nicest Dogs we ever had.. My Brother went to take her for walk when he was 12. A car came out of no where and hit Vickie and just missed my Brother. He ran inside and my Dad went out to the Dog. She looked at him and died in his arms. Our Neighbor called the Cops but the people were never caught. The plates were fake on the Car. My brothers had been threatened by 2 Boys that were moving the nexy day and we believe they did it but could not prove it. The day before theeighbor said They said something bad will happen. Our Neighbor said the Car was parked by his House and as soon as my Brother came out to walk the Dog it came towards them. She was one of the best Dogs we ever had. I picked her when she was a Puppy on March 4th 1978 and she died April 27 1984. I can never foget her. I ran in the other room and cried on my Cat. We did not have anothrt Dog for a long time after that.

She was a Great Dog. My Dad didnt want another Dog for a long time after that. In 1992 we Adopted a German Shorthair Pointer from the Pound and she lived 15 years. She was 1.5 Years at the time.
