I just received the newest update on Firefox today. Now, because of it, I can not type hyphenated words. The moment I try to put in an apostrophe, a little window pops up, that says "Quick Find". What is this all about? I don't like it. The only way I was allowed to type in the word don't, was by mis spelling it, and then using the spell check to correct it. Can anyone help me with this? Is anyone else having this problem? Could the cats have stepped on some key on the keyboard to make it impossible to type in apostrophes?

This was on the Firefox site and I found this discussion about the problem. Hopefully, you will find a solution.

I still use version 1.5.0.8 because the newer ones won't let me use some of the extensions that I like.

I did try version 2 and didn't like it at all and went back to version 1.5.0.8

If you want an older version of Firefox, try this link:

http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.htm

But make sure you change your options to never update the version.

Let's see if this helped. Yes it did. I was able to fix it with Firefox's instructions. Thank's so much.
