Saturday!! What are your plans?

Morning All!!!

Sunny but a bit chilly here this morning..

Up early this morning, have an early meeting at work, Who schedules these things Well lets see a boss that's been away golfing most of the week and wants an update early Sat morning so it doesn't spoil his plans for the rest of the weekend

On the bright side that means I should be finished work early as well..

Nothing much planned for this evening, I am thinking take-out and a movie.

Still feeling a run down so nothing that takes to much energy.

The kitties are good, had breakfast and promptly went back to bed for awhile..Lucky kitties.

I've had my new TV sitting in the middle of my living room since Wednesday. I've been too lazy to switch the old with the new. Mainly because I have to buy a stand for the new LCD and I didn't realize how dang expensive they are. So I've been walking around a 52 inch LCD for 4 days now.

Talk about lazy? That's me!

SO my Saturday will be spent like this.

Approximately 7 hours mulling over making the swap.
Approximately 7 minutes actually doing it.

I will be volunteering for Festival Internaional de Louisiane for the first time. It is an annual 5 day event with artists & musicians from all over the world. Several blocks of streets in downtown Lafayette are closed off to traffic and it's one big party with stages scattered throughout.

From 10am - 12 I will be working in CD sales. From 3pm- 5pm I will be working security. From 7pm to midnight I will be working artist hospitality. It should prove to be a fun and exhausting day.

Good morning everyone!

John went to a big auction this morning and will be gone until at least late afternoon, so I have the whole day to do whatever I want, that's unusual for a Saturday but I'm thrilled!

It's cool here again, and rainy, so I probably won't get much done outside today but I'm going to try to work with the horses for awhile and then get some cleaning done inside that I've been putting off.

Not doing much of anything today. I slept 10 1/2 hours last night and it felt soooo good. I've been exhausted this whole week and it felt awesome to sleep in. The weather is nice right now, so I have the windows open which the cats enjoy. I have to do the elliptical (maybe twice) and clean up the apartment. But that's about it.

It is going to be hot here in So. CA 92 degrees today & Sunday I'll be inside most of the day working on web pages for our client that are due Monday. But it'll be fun.

Its a extremely windy and cool day today. Right now its 40F (4C) with sustained winds down a bit to 18mph gusts up to 32 mph!! The wind chill is 31F!! And we had 70 F weather the last three days too.

We had a brief but violent thunderstorm last night about 6 pm. We got over 1/2 inch of rain in less than 15 minutes. So we are up to 1.75 inches since Thursday night.

No working outside for me today, job postponed until next Saturday. Neil was supposed to go up to the farm with one of his brothers and I talked him out of it!!

So he is removing the ceiling tiles in the family room and when done we will remove the grid and then I have about 5 inches of wallpaper to remove and repaint.

Got a couple of movies to watch and will make beer cheese soup for dinner as its so cool out.

Today is the first day of my "no job" time. I am kind of enjoying not having to be anywhere at a certain time, worrying about what will go wrong when I get there, etc. I really didn't like who I was becoming when we went into the other store. My life was just work. Nothing else. I lost 10 pounds from stress and lack of sleep, because of it. Last night I got a wonderful nights sleep for the first time in a long time. I should've left sooner. That place was making me into someone I didn't like very much.

As for what my actual plans are? Well I don't have any. Isn't it wonderful?

Waiting for my sister to get off work and go by the car place, then we're going for a late lunch and do some errands. It's warm here, and I don't think it's really going to get cool here again for several months.

We are going to the Stockton Asparagus Festival. My Sister is coming here now. It is 70 outside already and it should hit 87.

It is currently 72 here right now and lovely out! Its partly cloudy but thats okay. Although there is a chance of thunder storms for the afternoon but I'm hoping it doesnt happen!
As for tonight we are puppy sitting! Lots! LOL!
We have my 3 bosses dogs, 2 have been here before the other is a 1 1/2 year old Weim who we call "Destructor". And we will have my room mates parents Sheltie who just turned 1. So it might be a long night! We might be taking shifts as to who gets to stay awake and watch the dogs! LOL!
My boss is in Cancun and his dogs are very sad so we are bringing them home instead of leaving them at camp tonight!

Other than that I dont think we are getting into anything! Maybe going to the park to wear the dogs out a little!!

I'm cleaning house and watering the plants. Then my MIL is coming into town with her friend and I'm supposed to take them to the airport. After that I'll be cutting and tempering glass all night.

I'm not doing much today. I was going to do some laundry but I forgot to get detergent yesterday and I am all out so I have to wait until my boyfriend gets home to do any. I am going to watch the movie One Missed Call at some point today.

It is mild here, but not warm...and I will be cleaning, shopping and washing my car today

This morning i cleaned out the fridge i didnt realise how much stuff was actually off and i was nearly late for work.. I was at work, taught, met trav for lunch, and went off to buy a new laptop for me since the other one blew up on me on wednesday.
I then had a wonderful two hour nap this afternoon, and we watched three episodes of scrubs on this new cool laptop

I then went and did some food shopping.

Now i'm home its close to nine pm and i'm wide awake..

Might clean the bathroom and do the dishes.

Then food shopping

That is the plans so far About to leave for tennis in 30 min.
