Daisy has been being sick, probably about once every ten days, sometimes after eating plants sometimes not for the last 2 months. She is remakably lively for a five year old and still runs and leaps about playing with her toys etc. There seems no change in her personality.

The sick seems to vary too - sometimes it's mostly hair and clear "slime" (she has always left a lot of hair about the place), sometimes it's half digested food.

I changed her to a differnt brand of sachets but it doesn't seem to have any impact. I've tried her on dried food but she won't touch it (she's never liked it)

Anything else I should try before I take her to the vet? Is she bulemic?

Cats have hairballs and sometimes do this. You can get hairball medicine to prevent this.

Make sure that she stays away from plants she is not supposed to eat.

Stormy used to do that but I didnt relize she was sick. She would throw up sometimes and drool a little. Then I found her very sick last Dec 4th. We went to the Vet very fast and they took tests and said she would not live the night. She made it but had to be Pts Dec 5th. Her Kidneys were gone and they think she might have had Kidney Cancer. she never really acted sick except the barfing sometimes and the drooling once in a while. She was only 5. I would go to the vet and make sure your Cat is ok. My Vet asked me about the food reacall because Stormy would throw up sometimes since last April.i had my other Cat tested that ate the Food and all her Test were good.

It is quite likely nothing major, but it never hurts to go to the vet to check it out! If you've never had blood tests on your cat, now might be a good time to do that, just to see how everything is functioning.
