DH said I have guy feet :(

I was complaining to him earlier about how wearing socks and shoes all day make my feet sweat and I think I'm getting athletes foot. My feet aren't real stinky or anything. The skin on the bottom of my toes is cracked and peeling. Anyway, DH was like, "Thats cuz you got feet like a guy, all sweaty and stinky." BIG JERK.

Awww, that wasn't very nice of him!

Men are so unsensitive sometimes! But, it doesn't matter if you are male or female. If you're feet are in socks and shoes all day (especially tennis shoes) they will get sweaty and will get dry and itchy. I am prone to athletes foot (and belive me, I'm not an athlete! )

The best thing I found to help with the dry skin my feet is something I picked up at the dollar store. It's lemon and eucoliptis (sp?). Put it on at night and put socks on, and the next day, the dry skin just comes right off in the shower. And, it only costs a dollar!!

Now, if it's getting to the point where it is itching and cracking then you need a medicated cream.

Still, it's better than my old boyfriend that told me I had "Hobbit" feet! My feet are basically flat, and my second toe is longer than my big toe, plus if I don't shave my big toe, I have a very big tuff of hair that grows, plus I wear a size 8 1/2. So, being told you have "guy" is better than being told you have "guy" feet! At least "guy" is still considered human! Most of the time, anyway...

You poor thing. I get the big toe hair as well. I'd try the lemon and eycatliptus thing but I can't stand to sleep with socks on.

Well, maybe try and put it on for a few hours with socks and take them off before you go to bed. It soaks into your feet pretty fast so a few hours should do it. But, honestly, it does work wonders!

Cool, I'll have to try it out.

Haha I just woulda come back with "well so do you!"

I just share Oliver's bag balm sometimes... lather some on my feet and throw socks on and leave them on for a few hours before bed - I can't sleep with socks on either... and I have one of those sandpaper-y foot scrubbers in the shower and I just quick take that to my heels and around my big toe nails (idk, that's where my feet get dry haha) and it helps a ton!

And, I have toe hair too! I just shave it cuz it drives me crazy - I like when my feet are nice and smooth lol (I believe it's a genetic thing, cuz I have hair on my fingers too and that's definitely genetic - I remember surveying people for my AP Bio class in high school lol)

My ex used to call me monkey feet cuz I have long toes and always pick things up with them when I'm too lazy to bend over

OOH, I can pick stuff up with my toes too. Also, my pinkie toe is really pointy and I can stick it far out away from my foot. It creeps DH out. He calls it my dagger toe.

I have crazy toes too! My second toe is way longer than the big toe, and they're monkey toes! I pick a ton of stuff up with my toes! I have a little hair on them but not much, and for some reason during most month of the year I only wear flip flops and rarely do I wear tennis shoes and my feet are always soft! I love flip flops! When my DH picks on me about something like that I normally go with a verbal hit below the waist! Shuts him up quick enough!

Yay, glad I'm not the only monkey foot!

I saw a video on CMT's Country Fried Home Movies (it's basically funniest videos, but redneck style) and they had a monkey footed woman on there and it showed her smoking a cig with her toes! I mean I'm sure I could, but I've never tried hahaha and I'm sure if I ever decided to try, it'd be after drinking a few and I'm sure it'd end badly hahaah

Just wanted to add that the eucalyptus plant is toxic to cats, so be careful with lotions that have the oil in them.
