So, who elseâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s cat brings them presents while they are sleeping? My Caponey brings me presents almost every night. Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s usually his little crinkle balls. At first I thought he was just playing with them on my pillow but then I realized that he doesnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t play with them. What he does is he hops on my pillow purring loudly, then places the present beside my head on my pillow then he will climb on my chest (we did a post about cats kneading the boobage) and we will fall asleep.

He funny because he watches my every move when I first wake up so I always make a big production about how nice it was that I got a present and he will start rubbing against me leg and purring. Of course everyone I tell this to thinks Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m a freak… BUT! I am a freak who gets presents every night! LOL.

As I posted in another similar thread, the gifts include a lizard, a frog and a butterfly. Thankfully, it does not happen all the time.

Piper drops her ball on my face while I sleep. Although, I think she's just trying to get me to play fetch with her. No matter how many times I keep taking the ball off, she'll keep putting it right back on.

Butzie is in at night and never brings me her toys. However, she is into hunting lizards (see a new post from me). Butzie is calmly sleeping on my bed and I get up to go to the bathroom during the night. I turn on the light and there is a tailless lizard on my tile floor! Ya know, it was kinda hard to get back to sleep after that. Well, for me anyway. Butzie never blinked an eye.

IA. If you need me, just meow..
Neffie brings me her mousies at night at leaves them right behind me so that I roll on top of them. It's the most uncomfortable thing I've ever experienced. But she's my little sweetie so I never get upset about it I just pet her and put her mouse on the night stand.

those mousies ARE uncomfy to lay on! patchy always barfs in my room, too. a few days ago she yakked up a hairball and i just threw some newspaper on it and went back to sleep.

my mom came in and had to tell me something. i told her not to step on the hairball and she kept saying "what hairball?" i told her it was where ever the newspaper was, that i was asleep and couldnt remember. she said she was standing on the paper! i asked if it was wet and she said yes and almost puked.

i told her she wasnt cute like the kitties and waking me up in the middle of the night only to barf in my room would not work for her - i would kill her

my Don usually brings me unpleasant gifts at night. He brings me dead household gecko couple of times. Household gecko is pretty common in Malaysia especially in rural areas like where I'm living.

Why don't Maya brings me the gecko like Don do? Because she eat it. But she won't eat dead gecko which is already being kill by Don. How do I know this? I caught her red paws(ded)

Rocket once brought me a full-grown grey squirrel. I have a picture of it, and I could post it, but I caught flak for it in another forum. Too gruesome, I guess.

No one really does this anymore, but Isaac used to bring me sparkle balls. I think the most I ever found in the morning was 9.

Not at night, but in the morning, I find the boys' toy mice on the bathroom rug. While I'm awake, they wouldn't dare be caught doing something so undignified as playing with a toy mouse, but they must do it while I'm sleeping because those mice were in the living room the night before.

My feral cats ALWAYS bring me presents. It could be anything from mice/rats, lizards, or snakes. Some times they aren't whole either (yuck!!!!!).

OMG, those are all so cute, mostly the sparkle balls. Unfortunately, I am only the recipient of yakking up hairballs at night.

Our cat has started bring fruit from our neighbors yard, two nights in a row it was pears, last night it was 3 apples and 2 pears...what the heck is that about?  I'm thinking that since my husband pealed and ate the last pear, kk figured he'd like apples too.  I have heard of cats stealing things and storing them in hiding places, or bringing something they killed, but never fruit.
