A thread of Thanks

I decided with so much turmoil in the world that everyone could use a thread filled with love, hope and peace. Please feel free to post in this thread things you feel thankful for.

I am thankful that I still have both my parents and that we are closer now then we have ever been.

I'm thankful my Dad's heart is still going strong after years of heart disease, because it gives me more time to spend with him.

I'm thankful that my brother is my friend and that he was smart enough to marry my sis-in-law.

I'm thankful for my friends, who love me even when I'm a b!@#$.

I'm thankful for my health, my job, my home. I might complain a lot, but at least I have a roof over my head, food on my table and enough money to do what I want to do.

I'm thankful for Ivo, who reminds me that the simple things in life like food, sleep, play and love are the most important.

I'm thankful for all the friends I've made here, because I don't make friends very easily, and I feel so comfortable here.

I am thankful for my home, my family, my friends, food on the table, warmth when it's cold, a breeze when it's hot. My job, my health (although not the greatest,could be worse)...my life.

Being able to have the freedom to change my living quarters without answering to a landlord first
Being allowed to worship God in my own way without fear
For the Internet who has shown me just how wide the world is, how many friends are out there and how many different cultures there are to embrace
That God has given me a gift of words that I can share with anyone who wishes to read them
For this community of friends who always come together no matter what and who have stood through so much together and who will continue to do so as they are all such wonderful, gentle souls.

I am thankful for my cats. It would be a grey lonely life with out them. And i must have a pretty good life when my pets are better fed and taken care of than some children are in other areas. I would say i have a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for:

Anne and this catsite and all the wonderful wonderful people I have met here and become friends with!!!

And for my family, and my beautiful baby girl.

Also for my cats, especially my Merlin who brings such joy to my life!

And for God for being there for me when I need him.

And for living in America and having freedom

I am thankful for having a job and being able to pay my bills.

I am thankful for my friends offline too, who I see almost daily.

And for my home.

There are so many more things, but I can't name them all!
