Day 8 in the dust bowl.

I have always been the one to clean the litter box. Mainly because I have more time. I have never noticed any kind of dust issue in the past but now that I am in a small area with a litterbox, it has become more and more of an issue for me. I think I am beginning to have a lot more sympathy towards those with asthmatic conditions.

We recently switched to Dr Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra and the dust is MARKEDLY--REMARKABLY, even--reduced. Very inexpensive, too. We buy at PetSmart.

I keep a litter box in the laundry room. When we had that room remodeled, I put in a ceiling vent to suck out the dust. It's a small room and it's really helped.

I hate to dust.
