Yup, the rally weekend officially starts today.
http://www.laughlinriverrun.com/

Our park is already full of out of town bikers, with 17 more reservation for later today.

Seriously, I love the roaring, rumbling, earth shaking sounds of large and small groups of bikes running down the highway out front.
I am told if I brave the lack of parking in Laughlin, that I'll be able to see thousands of bikes, and bikers, lots of them vintage (yes, vintage bikers).

Dunno if we'll drive into town or not.

I feel very bad for my cousin, as he'll miss it this year due to his cancer treatments.
He's a long time Hell's Angels Oakland Chapter member.

If I get up to Laughlin, I'll try to remember my camera

Its my favorite sound in the world!

I miss Wisconsin
I hate those noisy things. But I can admit, it sounds like fun! More power to ya! Besides, I am from Milwaukee, home of the Harley.

Arlyn, are you operating a campground in that area?

We have some friends who once owned the KOA in Bullhead City.

I don't mind some but my neighbor has one with super loud pipes and after he starts it he guns the throttle so many times you could here is from a couple miles away!! His is just way to loud. Oh and the country road that is a few hundred feet away has lots of bikers for rides which I do not find amusing as they do not seem to obey traffic signs.

I guess I like the other bikes a bit better!!

I live and work in a private RV resort (Northshore in Needles) leased to Colorado River Adventures, I am just a grunt here, but my parents who are snowbirds are the Summer assistant managers.

I love Harley's too! My husband has a "99" Harley soft tail Custom FXSTC. I love spending my summers on the back of his bike. We go for long rides in the country!

One of the guests yesterday had the cutest helmet.
It was a solid pink Outlaw half helmet, with yarn braids attached to it

My Harley is EVERYTHING to me.

That throaty rumbling is both mating call and lullabye for me!

Oh man, wish I could afford event passes.
This year's performances include Foreigner, Joan Jett, The Black Crowes and Blue Oyster Cult.

You wouldn't want to be our neighbors then
