Another thread got me thinking about how strange life is, and how things have a way of working themselves out. So, just wondering who else here had a bad time in their life that turned out good.
For example, my mom was diagnosed with cancer when I first moved back to my home town. I was only planning on being there for a few months, then move to a bigger city with more opportunites. Instead, I stayed and took care of her for a year and a half. While it was hell at the time, if that hadn't happened, I probably wouldn't have gotten back together with my old boyfriend, and wouldn't have gotten married to my best friend and soul-mate and have the house in the country I didn't even know I wanted.
Kind of makes you wonder if fate isn't playing a part in your life sometimes. Anyone else have stories of fate they want to share?
