My cat and I just moved into a friends house who also has cats. My baby is declawed. The other two aren't. My cat has never been a pansy other cats except these two. Can cats sense when other cats have claws or not?

They can sense vulnerablity, though they can't pinpoint the fact that there are no claws involved, until the first fight breaks out. I would suggest to your roommate that she clip her cat's claws and watch the cats to see if their are any indications of hostility. If there are, then keep yours off in a room somewhere safe.
