We put Gus on the harness today to take him outside. He's comfortable on the harness inside, and will walk on the lease, but every time I've tried to take him out I open the door and he freaks out. Today I held him tightly and went and sat down on the front steps. After a few seconds he jumped off my lap and sniffed around. He walked next door and gave the neighbor a licking, and then we walked through campus. He was so good!! I have to follow him, but that's alright. I just think it'll be fun to play with him outside this summer. He's such a fearless and affectionate cat that I'm thinking once he's past the spazzy kitten stuff we'll get him a therapy cat certificate.

So cute. Therapy animals are so great. My cats are not therapy animals but they sure are healing forces in my life.
Sounds like a great cat.

I bet he's adorable! Therapy pets rule! Joshua has a therapy pet 'friend' he met at the hospital several times, his name is Elmo - he is a black Labradoodle. Friendliest thing!! And super neat to see walking through the hospital corridors. Definitely puts a smile on your face. I could just imagine seeing a cat walking on a harness! If you ever get pictures... you know where to put them
