Certainly when it comes to my Smudgey kitten anyway! She is the world's most uncoordinated cat.

She regularly falls off the couch, skids across the coffee table when she lands on it, and skids right off, loves to climb over our shoulders, but falls and has to dig her claws in to our back to not fall off.

Recently she was on the coffee table trying to get onto my lap. She had her front paws on my legs, and her back paws on the cofee table. Her back legs started sliding, and she just fell straight down onto the floor and landed on her belly. Splat!

Just now she was playing on the little cat tree in my study (which is only about as tall as she is stretched out), and climbing up it, when I have no idea what happened, but she just fell backwards and landed on her back on the ground. She was so embarrassed I think. She made a funny little grunting noise, then went tearing out of the room.

This is a regular occurrence for Smudge - she does something incredibly uncoordinated, and lands really awkwardly. If the other cats manage to misjudge something (even Stumpy without a tail for balance), they manage to twist themselves around to at least mostly land on their feet.

Poor widdle Smudge!

Oops she just fell off again. Seems she may be forgetting that we trimmed her claws on the weekend!

Samba is the same way, he has none of that gracefulness that most cats have. It does make life pretty funny doesn't it.

Aw, poor girl! Stan does some pretty uncoordinated things too...I think it has a lot to do with the fur on his paws covering the pads and making them slippery
It is darn entertaining though...specially when he does the "Kramer slide" on the kitchen linoleum.

Jacob is so clumsy it's unbelieveable, he just does not pay attention to what he is doing bless him. The other night he went to jump down off the computer desk, his front end was on target but he smacked his rear end on top of the computer tower next to the desk and bumped to the floor on his side with a rather embarrassed expression on his face. He just charges about with absolutely no forethought!

Shark can be clumsy at times, especially when she wants to jump up at the food bowl counter..she will leap up so far, put her paws on the counter edge, and just slip back down again. It's so funny to watch, although I do check to see that she is ok!

oh bless her cotton socks! Sounds comedy gold!
It's a complete myth about cats being graceful though. Oscar is, at this very moment, wrapped up in a Tesco carrier bag. He decided he wanted to put his head through the handles and his bum inside the bag. He fell asleep (not strangulated, I did check) then tried to get up. Oh, he JUST got himself untangled! I figured he'd sort himself out eventually lol

Zane does things like that; it is mostly when he forgets that he isn't a lithe, graceful puma but a big old FAT CAT (18 lbs.--nice to get launched on your belly in the middle of the night when you are sound asleep NOT!).
