Other times it's a hemmorage that over flows a super plus tampon every 15 minutes or less. Those latter ones will drop my hemaglobin from normal (130's) down to anemic (low 80's) in the matter of a couple of days.
So I'll stick to pads. I'm 46 years and I can't wait for menopause. It's just around the corner
I have endometriosis and have very heavy and clotty TOMs... This is one of the reasons I LOVE my diva!!! I've only used it one cycle so far - but it was ALL I needed. Usually I have to wear a tampon and pad in combination with each other and have to change tampons sometimes hourly. With my cup I dont have to worry about overflow!
I absolutely LOVE it. Did I say that yet???
And on the other spectrum, the light days... I would still recommend it. I love that you dont have the feeling of being on your period. Aside from the cramps... I mean you dont "feel" it, your period I mean. Know what I mean??? I know there are men reading this!
Another thing I like so far... if you sneeze or cough or bend over, you dont feel like your tampon is slipping out!
I know someone has to relate to that?
Anyway... I'm glad I finally tried it, and I cant wait to get my daughter to change her mind
I think she will love it as well... and I think if she was introduced to this in the beginning, as opposed to tampons, she wouldnt be so freaked out by the idea. Who knows.
