Guys I iam more confused then ever and I have no idea what to do. The pain started to come back around 4:30 ish when I had to get supper started. And when the pain started going up I started passing clots again. Gross warning:..

It was pretty big by my standards bigger than a quarter but not quite golf ball sized. I am torn because 1 if I go now its gonna be the bad local hospital I have to go to. And 2 they don't do much. and 3 I am confused and feel like I should wait till morning to see if it all stops.

All I can wear right now is sweat pants or boxers...I had to wear pants earlier and the pressure and pain it caused almost made me puke. I have never had this much pain...this late in the cycle and this much bleeding in this late in the cycle. Its not a pad an hour but still quite a bit by my standards. I am just confused and I don't know what to do and the husband is confused and has no earthly idea what to do.

Hun i don't know your health background, but going by that, i really think you should go see your doctor before anything serious happens *hugs*

EDIT: Just read your updated post. Are there any other clinics/hospitals that you could get driven to? it may be worth going a bit further out if you're worried about the one you've been to before.

you need to keep that [i know, gross] to take w/you so they can see exactly what is happening.
i think ERs see a lot of people who go for relatively minor things... so they have a tendency to be somewhat skeptical. probably thinking, "oh, so what, painful period, heavy bleeding - lots of people have that, it's certainly not an emergency."
put it in a baggie.

Sorry to say I flushed before thinking of that. I think part of me is confused on what to do because I have talked to some females I know in real life and they are all like "that pain this late is cycle is normal" or "I get clots like that all the time during my cycle" etc and I am left more confused because I have no idea if its normal or not. My mom is like I might need ot go my husband (being a man) has no idea if I need to go or not. I am just confused and worried.

And the one with a lot of pain may end up (or already has)with something like endometriosis, the other may have other serious issues that have been missed.

Personally, mine have no pain, are fairly heavy the first two to three days, then moderate and finishing up with a few days of very light spotting (pink). Lasting 7-9 days total. Sorry if that was too much info for everyone.

For the most part since Sept. That has been how mine has been but lasting 7 days. I knew something was up like I said 3 days before I actually started. 1 it was early. 2. that first start was only like a few hours and was brownish in color like the end of the cycle and then stopped. 3. after 3 days it came hard and heavy and pretty much stayed that way with not much pain until today. 4. small clots are normal for me but not like today.

At this point unless the pain because to much (and now its dieing off a little) or I pass another big one....I'll probably wait till morning to see what its doing.

I apologize if you've already stated this, but is it possible you could be pregnant? I only say that because I had similar symptoms when I miscarried. I hope you can get this checked out soon. My mom has problems with fibroids and I know they are no laughing matter.

Under the cats, mostly.
Aaaaaaw hun I was just thinking about what esrgirl has just said - I had similar symptoms when I miscarried
you really have to be looked at. No more "will I, won't I... well probably" stuff - you get your butt down there and shout at someone until they take you seriously!

I have fibroids, and what they told me was DUB (dysfunctional uterine bleeding) and they said mine was because I was menopausal, but there could be other reasons for it. I was also told even though it it gross and sometimes painful, it was not serious in my case. I hope things get better for you.
