So, what did everyone do this weekend?
My husband and I drove out 2 hours for a special car meet. He belongs to a web forum for our Dodge Stealth called 3SI and they planned for their yearly car meet over at Ocean City. It was absolutely gorgeous there by the beach. I got the sunburn to prove it!
Anyways, there was about 55 cars, all Dodge Stealths, there with their drivers and families. It was pretty cool being there to meet everyone. The age group was pretty spaced out from youngens like us and older people.
We didn't race or anything like that because that's not what the group was about buuuut we did have a group of 'punk kids' stopping by our hotel at around 1am, trying to get us out there to race them. We were all laughing on the balcony because the cars they had wouldn't last a race with ours even if we would race them. It was hilarious, one guy kept sounding his car alarm on and off every time any of them got a few feet to his car.
So, all in all, it was a very fun weekend. Even with the cops passing by every 15-20 minutes but it wasn't like we were doing anything illegal.
Oh, by the way, the Hooters place that we all met up at had their sign saying "Hooters loves 3000 GTs!"
