Tragedy in our Family (people - not cat)

We could use some prayers this week. My husband's niece got killed in an auto accident end of last week. Long story, but there were 4 kids in the car with her. Her two children and two others she was babysitting.

She (niece) was pronounced dead at the scene; kids were in critical condition. One child died on Friday. Niece's two children (9 and 2) - the 9 yr old will be ok. the 2 yr old has had two brain surgeries so far and not sure if he will survive yet.

We have no idea when the funeral will be - probably some time in the next few days (long story). If the boys survive, his niece's 1/2 sister is interested in taking the boys to raise - she's the one that is probably the best to do so.

I am so sorry, please accept my condolences for your family. We had a family tragedy also this year, I swear it's just a horrid year for so many people I know.

I am at a loss of what to say. There have been so many heartbreaking events for many people this year. This can't be easy for your family and so many must be devastated not to include the children. I am so very sorry.

Oh no... you see horrific things like this on the news and just shudder at what it means for the families... I'm so awful sorry.
