If I had to state an average, I'd say 15 minutes to 1/2 hour between kittens is normal, but sometimes they are born so close together the mom doesnt even realize she had 2! and sometimes the time span is an hour or so. In my experience, the longest time span seems to be the last kitten. I always guess it's because there are no others in there egging him on

Also, as long as she is comfortable, I think you can move her into her into her new nest now. Although, if more are coming, you might want to rethink dirtying up a second spot

Do NOT move those kittens out of sight of their mom. You need to keep them all together as much as you can. Kittens cannot regulate body tempature.

When my queen was having them, I always opened the kitten's mouth and clean off the face and handed them back to mom. She will be more upset and anxious if you are holding the kitten and she will not pay attention to what she is supposed to be doing.

You need to put mom and babies in a large box with a towel inside a pillowcase. They need to be kept out of any drafts.

As far as how long between kittens - it can vary from 5-10 mins to 2 hrs. The last kitten born usually takes the longest since its further away from the vagina and has to get down there.

Wait till she is done then move them into a Box. My Coco had in a Box of Laundry in the Bathtub but she was a very good Mom. Meeko had in a Box I gave her but she didnt want to nurse Yoshi at first. I kept putting him on her. Coco tried to take him so he could Nurse on her but Meeko would come running.

I assumed you meant you were moving them all - mom and kittens, so that you could get them off the couch. GoldenKitty is right, you wouldnt want to separate them. Even though the mom is so comfortable with you, she would go crazy. LOL

I think you meant the whole litter though (including mom)... I am so happy everything is working out for Little Kitty! Thanks for all the updates!
