I just ate half a box of Slowpokes. Ummm... maybe there was a hole in the bottom and they just kind of fell out? Yeah, that's it. :tounge2:

I don't care - if it tastes good, I'm gonna eat it!

Diabetes runs in my family and there is a very good chance that I will develop it, within the next 10-15 years. As long as I'm not overweight, it shouldn't happen anytime soon. As long as I'm not diabetic, I'm going to enjoy myself.

Life's too short to:

Dance with ugly men
Drink cheap/bad whiskey
Do without chocolate

We always made them - a shot of Hershey's syrup in a glass of Coke. Watch out, though - it tends to foam up.

I'm going to have to go buy the fixings for a root beer float now... I've recently polished off a pint of Starbucks mud pie ice cream over 4 days... the worst eating problem I have now is that my split with the ex is really hitting me hard right now, and my appetite is mostly gone. I tend to skip breakfast and dinner, because I don't even think about eating.

Yeah, I'll be alright... coming to TCS and laughing is a big help. I may take you up on that offer, though (I got your messenger name off the thread with everyone's else's).

I got a 1.6 kg bag of licorice allsorts at the warehouse store a few weeks ago. I'm trying to ration them, but they're the European (Finnish) ones that are about 1000 times better than the ones made here in NA, and I just can't help eating some *every* *single* *day* since I bought them...

Lucky you, Auburn, that you can have some Krispy Kremes... I live in Canada and there is only one store in the country and it is 5 hours away. The only time I get to have one is when I travel to the US for business - I almost missed a plane in Philadelphia the last time I was there because my gate was the whole way across the 'port from the Krispy Kreme stand!

JulieB, where is this warehouse where you picked up the Finnish candy??

Actually, there are 2 Krispy Kreme's in Ontario. One in Mississauga, and one right up the street from me!

I have to admit, I am not a Krispy Kreme fan at all. Way too much suger for my tastes!! When we went to pick some up the first time, I asked if I could have a couple of donuts without the icing. Oh, they tasted horrible! Ultimate lard, ick!

It's funny, because if you go to Tim Hortons (Canadian donut chain) and have a plain donut, it tastes really good!

Hmmmm....

i used to not like crispy cremes. but they have grown on me. (literally.) but they are not my favorites. i like a donut somewhere between a Tim Horton's glazed donut and crispy creme. crispy creme is quite a sugar blast, though!

at tim hortons... i love the ham and cheese biscuit or croissant thing.

I didn't even know Krispy Kreme made chocolate iced, cream filled donuts! And I thought their originals were delicious!
