Since I have never had kittens before I am pretty much clueless on weaning and litter box training. I see some folks whose kittens are using the litter box at 4 weeks. Bella's kittens are 22 days old. How do you go about getting them interested in going into the box and teaching them how to use it?
I do plan on mixing KMR with wet food...but at what age should I begin doing this?

My kittens weren't really interested in food until they were 5 weeks old. As for litter boxes they used one for the first time at about 4 weeks. Make sure you have non-clumping litter. Just put a small box in there with them and usually they will figure it out by themselves.

Put some non-clumping litter in a shallow cake pan. I'd also have a small pan that mom uses next to the baby's pan. Usually at about 3 weeks old, the kittens will play in there, scratch around and get the idea. Be prepared for mistakes for a few weeks. You might want to put a small piece of poop in the pan and a tissue that has a little pee on it. This way they will get the idea.

I always have the litter pan and kittens on a surface that is cleanable (bathroom, cage, etc.) until they know how to eat off a plate and how to use the litter pan. Then they can have freedom on the rugs

As far as feeding, I would not try till about 5-6 weeks old. Under that time if mom is nursing, the kittens really don't want to try food.

I already went to Petco and I have bought a 1 inch high litter pan and bought kitten litter that was non clumping. Ok so I wont worry about the weaning for now because momma is still very attentive to her kittens. Maybe at about 4 weeks (in about 5-6 days) I will try with the litter box...thanks for all your wonderful advice. I am so tempted to keep all Bella's kittens. Last night we had them all upstairs on my bed and they are so stickin' cute as they are beginning to interact with each other.

Just keep the litter box for the kittens within sight of them. Because mom and kittens were caged, they showed interest in using it (by mom using it) by 3 weeks old.
