I have determined that the best cat treat is simply raw pork. I just cut buy whatever pork from the supermarket, cut it up, and feed it to my cat and it loves it.
The only problem with this is it tends to get my hand dirty feeding him. I can't exactly pick up a piece of juicy pork for him and then turn a page of the book.

Pork is a very contraversial meat to feed... RAW is DANGEROUS unless you raised the pig and slaughtered it yourself

That's not what the CDC has to say:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dpd/parasi...richinosis.htm

"If you eat raw or undercooked meats, particularly bear, pork, wild feline (such as a cougar), fox, dog, wolf, horse, seal, or walrus, you are at risk for trichinellosis."

There is no way I would feed myself or my cat uncooked pork- that's just asking for illness
