Thank you! I love his eyes. That was one of the things that stood out for me the first time I saw him.

Thanks! A few of them remarked about his brilliant copper eyes. They said he had a nice round face, great color, nice bone structure. Some of the judges don't talk much while they're judging. The spectators just loved him!

Wow - what a beautiful picture. Congrats on the winners ribbons. Who was his bicolor competition that beat him for color class (what color)?

And when is the next show?

I love the photo too. I don't understand why I can't get pictures of him like that! The photographer didn't do anything I don't. Except have a lot of bright lights around.
And the title is nice. I just hope we deserved it since he didn't have any open competition. But mostly I just had a lot of fun and it was a great experience.

Thank you. He's not only a beautiful cat but he's my little love bug. He's attached to me at the hip.

His competition was in the Persian Bi color division. The cat was cream and white and I can't remember his full name right now. But he was called Bo. He's a regional winner so he would have been a rough cat to beat. Maxx got best of color in what I think would be the Persian Black and white color division. But there again, he was the only one.

There is a show in May in Nevada but that's too soon. I have a plan and am going to wait a little while. I'd like to put 2 lbs on him so he'd weigh slightly over 9 lbs. And since his foster, prior to me, had him shaved late last summer, I'm hoping he hasn't quite gotten his full coat in yet.

Oh yeah....
I've been so tired I forgot I had tons of pictures! It's 10:30 A.M., I just got up, and I feel like I could still yet, go back to bed and sleep all day. But I'll put on the coffee pot and go through the pictures and get them up today.

I'm sure that even if he had another black/white bicolor he would have gotten 1st in color. I'm sure it was a hard decision to make between the two. Did you notice any of the judges really taking the time to go between them before given the division (bicolor) award to the cream?

I thought maybe a couple of them took second looks. But mostly, no. Several of them did mention his gorgeous eye color and that he had a nice round face.

I've got the pictures ready and will post some of them in a minute.

This was when we first got there. Maxx is wondering "why did you put me in jail, mom?"

This is Chunky Monkey. The exotic Persian next to us. The owner was a little old man and he was very helpful.

There were lots of Abys there. It's hard to see through these security cages. But I liked the sign!

Another Aby

This was the only male judge. I wasn't impressed with him at all as he seemed to not really want to be there. Anyway... this was his best cat and it was a stunning siamese.

Another judge with a himmie. This one was pretty quiet but nice.

This cat was awesome.

This is the Siberian. He was a huge cat!

Maxx being judged.

My favorite judge. Her name is Betty White and she is fun to watch. She is so full of energy, animated and into the cats.

I absolutely LOVE this cat!

Humongous cat! I think it's a Maine coon? I'm sure that's what they said but I'd never seen one with this coloring.

This is blurry but I wanted you to see how big this guy was.

and a little Scottish Fold.

Cornish Rex?

This was Maxx's Persian bicolor competition. I thought I got a better picture of him but I can't find it. this is Bo.

more in a minute

Another of the cutie I loved so much. She's in her judging cage. I believe she is a Devon Rex? Forgive me but I am not familiar with some of these breeds.

This judge was very nice and vocal. Her's was the first ring Maxx went into. I didn't get a picture of Maxx with her though.

this was a really vocal judge too. I liked her. This was Maxx's last ring and it was getting late

This judge seemed a bit etcentric. But she was pretty vocal as well. She would really take time to examine the cats and loved to play with them.

This poor Sphynx boy was very naughty. This was when he was in the ectentric judges ring. He was pretty aggresive and she finally had to give up on him. I couldn't hear her reason but she took all this cat's color points away.

This cat is gorgeous. Very nice coat.

Another Sphynx

That's it! I tried to get a variety of pictures. Two pictures I didn't get that I really wanted were of some of the Brittish short hairs and the selkirk rex.
Oh well.... I was busy.

One more I almost forgot! This is Maxx with his 6 winners ribbons. It was just before I tore down my cage and he does not look impressed. Does he?
I had forgotten his bowls so I had to have a friend bring some from home. I asked for small and got big and plastic!

First you got all the breeds right
The reason the sphynx got ribbons taken away was because the judge could not handle him and he was disqualified. I'm surprised that the judge did not call up the owner of the cat to take him out and then judge him on the table. Most judges do that.

I can see why about the cream/white. Much more coat. Shame you didn't get a face shot for comparison. But I'm sure you will do well next time when he's got all his coat, etc.

Great pics. Can you check the catalog and let me know if there was any Oci's in the show (kitten, cat, alter) and if so who were they. Pm me with that if you find any

I love the last pic of him in the cage with the ribbons - in the litter box!

Thanks! I just left the whiskers the way they were. I don't think they were as bad as it seemed to me.
