what a mess

Last night I noticed Popsie had diarrhea in his litter box. I thought I might have given him too much enulose yesterday because I was worried he wasn't eating what I'd put in his food. Today when I got up there were little spots of poo all over the house. They are black too which worries me. I also think I saw a bit of vomit. I'm wondering if it's the special food giving him the runs.

It can be the food. Coco has had Black before.

Call the vet to check, just to be safe. If it was a sudden food switch, that'll cause the runs.

Not to alarm you, but black would worry me a lot. That's what blood looks like.

I know, that was the first thing that crossed my mind. He hasn't pooed since Thursday so his diarrhea must be cleared up. I'll keep checking his box though to make sure further poops aren't black.
