My cat is pooping (only poop) on the couch. The problem originally started when my cat was having a bout of constipation. She would poop on the couch when she could go and she peed on it once or twice too. I changed her food from dry to wet food (which cured the constipation issue) and took her to the vet. He said she looked great and her colon was not impacted. She was tested for worms too and everything was clear.
However, most (not all) of the time she still poops on the couch, although she pees in the litter box. I've cleaned and cleaned the couch with enzyme cleaner. I clean her litter box everyday and I completely clean it out every month. She's using the same litter she has been for a LONG time.
I don't know what else it could be? Is the couch just not clean enough? Is something else going on? What?
