ok..this should get your brains working...
I am home today..so my radio wasn't on at 6:44 am....so I am giving my own question.....

The following clues lead to answers that can be simplified into a letter pair. Solve the clues, truncate the answers, and rearrange the letter pairs to make a car model.

1. Invention inspired by the second railroad ever built in the U.S.
2. The first nation to allow women to vote.
3. Abbreviation for pedagogy
4. The only U.S. state to border only one other state.
5. Nickname for the largest city in Louisiana.
6. Artificial element named after a clerk from a Swiss patent office.

Ok, so I am trying to narrow down one of the answers, think I have most of them right so far, but my initials arent registering in my brain

keep trying i'm sure you can do it.

Ok, have answers ( I think I have them right), but not enough vowels to make a true word

(Not going to give up my answers yet, dont want to give away all the hard work)

Got IT!!!! (Have to re-use my vowels a couple of times!! wasn't expecting to have to do that)

4.) Maine (ME) (grrrr almost had the wrong abbreviation here)
5.) New Orleans = "Big Easy" (BE)
6.) Einsteinium (ES)

So then you have the following letters:

RCPDNZMEBEES

Mercedes Benz
