I hope the McCain campaign can over come this. This is very serious.

I guess I just don't get what the fuss is about. Why can one of the Food Networks's recipes not be one of my favourite as well? Did anyone claim that she "invented" the recipes? I must have missed something as I just saw that the recipes were only claimed to be favourites. I certainly have favourites myself that I did not create.

I sometimes cannot believe the lengths some people will go to in order to discredit others.

HOW COULD THEY!

Recipes are nearly always at least partially stolen. There's only so much you can do with rosemary and a hunk of chicken.

That read like a article from the Onion. "We took away his zero pay".

If that is the best that the McCain haters have, I feel sorry for them.

Oh for pete's sake. You can't be serious. First of all, who would share family recipes on a website. Hence the wording "family recipe". And, who is to say these aren't favorite family recipes? They may just not be family "secret" recipes.

If all McCain has to worry about is an intern posting stolen recipes, then he has NO problem what so ever.

And, my family's "secret" recipe for chocolate chip cookies comes right off of the tollhouse chocolate chip bag!

Totally sorry if anyone thought I was serious. I forgot to make my words orange.

I think this is one of the best non-scandals of this political season. When the election is over I plan on posting a nice list of them so we can all laugh.

Keith Olbermann tried to turn this into a serious story on MSNBC tonight. I wonder if these people live in such a vacuum that they actually take this stuff seriously?

Really? I'm so excited that people are trying to make it into a "serious" event.

To answer your question, yes! They do live in a vacuum. A wonderful vacuum that thinks stealing recipes from the Food Network is a major political scandal. I'm just hoping this makes it into a question on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me this week.

As a small side note. Do you notice how every political scandal ends with the suffix -gate? It's after the Watergate issue that Nixon had. Aren't we all glad that it wasn't a Howard Johnson? This scandal would be called Farfallejohnson. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it does it?

Ohhh...I didn't know orange font meant sarcasm. I guess I should put that away for future reference!

This is entirely too funny. I may be voting for Hillary, but seriously.... focusing on some stupid intern's mistake with posting a recipe and others focusing his age! You'd think the press could find something of importance to focus on. He must have a pretty solid campaign if all they can think to criticize him about are these silly things
