we're looking for an apartment, gods i hate looking in a small town, it's so hard to find something meeting even half of your requirements.. (like cats, for example) which is indeed why i need your magic !

please cross your fingers that the right place will become available to us, i could really use the positive thoughts and vibes ----> good vibes:

i don't want to get stuck taking something i don't really want or like at an unreasonable price !
it's important to me to find something that 'fits' at this point because i don't plan on moving until at least next winter.

this is my face right now ---->

stressed !

thanks, guys !

I'm hoping for you. You should be able to find an apartment that allows pets for an extra fee per month-and perhaps a larger security deposit!

that's what i'm hoping, too. it helps that they're indoor and to show documentation that they've been neutered, etc, as well.

why do realty people have to be so against pets
like you're outcasted for having cats, or worse yet, a dog ! i realize not all pet owners take the best care of their animals, but what about the rest of us?! give us a chance !

Good luck blue! Hopefully, you'll find a huge place at a low price that lets you have as many cats as you want.

that might be what is known as delusional expectations, but wouldn't it be a dream?
thanks Christy ! :flower:

you would understand the crisis if you saw where i lived, there aren't a lot of places to choose from. i think there were a dozen listings in my area last week, with only 2 or 3 even slightly appealing

Sending some board magic right out to you Katie! Even in a big city it's hard to find the perfect place that allows pets with out a horrible deposit. (One place we looked at last time wanted $800 PER CAT non-refundable deposit, plus monthly pet rent!!! Like the cats can go get a job to pay rent
)

Best of luck. Things do have a way of working out for the best. I'm sure it will happen for you too.

Good luck finding the right place for you! It can be a nightmare, I know! I just went through it and finally found a place that I'm moving into in May. One piece of advice: even if you think you'll hate it, go look at it anyway; you may be surprised! (That's how I found mine!) :eye&mouth

though now i'm considering just getting out of town now that the opportunity has risen... should i move out to Victoria and live with my brother ?
it would be nice to be close to my sister and the new baby... i'm just not sure now what i should do.

Good Luck house hunting, I have recently moved towns and I wasn't able to bring my cats with me. It is very hard. So I do hope that you find something that will keep you all together and happy,

Hi Blue! Can you go visit your brother just to check things out? Your sister might like having an on-call baby-sitter around - but is that what you want?

LOTS of "Please let Blue find JUST what she wants and needs" thoughts coming your way!

BTW - I agree with Christy. Hope you find a HUGE apartment for REALLY cheap that will let you have as many cats and animals as you want!
