Typing Error In Avatars Read This>>>

The Avatar called "Iceberg" actually says "Icebreg"....
Thought u would want to know....

I know u can get a new few choices in Avatars by the time u reach 20 posts, then 100....but is it possible to make it every 10 posts...like maybe add 5-10 more choices every 10 more posts..(EX: Every time the posts get past a multiple of ten, new avatars are added) this way newbies won't have to wait so long to get more choices...

Once we get to 100 and can post our own, can u post how to find cool avatars, where u get some of yours, or exactly how to make them...that would help alot of people, oh and you could also start a avatar contest or something once people know exactly how to make them...this will help u out if u are still needing new avatars for updating like u were a while ago...

As far as adding in new ones every 10 posts, I'm not sure if Anne can add that feature in. I will bring it to her attention so she can check into it.



Also I am merging your 3 threads together into one, just to keep things orderly. And since they are all regarding avatars I think it is not as confusing. Thanks for all the feedback!!

Sorry to cause so much trouble making 3 threads, but since they were kinda seperate topics, I thought it would be easier...
Oh and the avatars, what about my question on how to make them...especially the animated ones I've seen people post...Is there a free graphic program that can be used to make animations?

I do know that some people use PhotoShop for animation. There is a freeware download in the avatar contest thread, I think. It's only compatible with Windows.

Yep - check the contest thread for info on how to make avatars or where to get them - you can even post your question there.

I know animated avatars are all the rage on the forums right now but it wasn't always like that - and a simple static image can be accomplished by many applications. Do ask the members - I'm sure you'll get plenty of help.

As for the Icebreg avatar - it's one of the earliest avatars I made - almost 3 years ago I know there's a typo there - I like it actually - it's our way to test the user's alertness level

As for changing the number of posts - we're trying to make you work for that avatar you know I think most people don't go to their control panel every 10 posts - with some of the chatterboxes we have here I don't think they get to the cp every 100 posts - too busy talking Thanks for the feedback though - I will give it some more thought.

I think the "Iceberg" is funny...I just noticed it was "Icebreg" because I'm one of the people stuck with good English which is irritating because sometimes I can't even mention the error...lol.. Oh and about making people "work" to get to 100 avatars, think of it this way, the TRUE cat people will still be here even if we get more avatars... Oh and I love to give feedback...If I can think of anything else..I'll let u know...but otherwise I LOVE your forum!!!! I really enjoy everything u do here..I also enjoy trying to help the other members too...
