Dishwasher rack touchups?

Has anyone every tried using a product like this for dishwasher rack touchups?

Did it work?

I have some rust spots on my dishwasher racks and I would hate to spend a ton of money for new racks.

I don't know about that one, but this one at Amazon gets lots of high reviews. It's not paint though: it's caps.

Whirlpool also has a kit available. Caps and vinyl paint.

I've never seen those before. What a cool idea!

I wish I would have known about them in our last apartment. Our apartment dishwasher was older and left rust marks on some of my dishes.

If you buy one of these products let me know as my dishwasher is showing its age inside and one of the prongs on the top shelf rusted/broke off!!
