I didn't keep my points in the bank. I am somewhat new around here and wasn't clear on there being benefits of keeping points in the bank.
As I mentioned, I have been doing income tax all day. SammiesMom pointed out to me that the .03 above should be .003 and that is correct. Thus the answer would be 27,600. To get 3% of something you would multiply by .03 and to get .3% of something you would multiply by .003.Originally Posted by Persi & Alley
4,600,000 X .03 X 2 = 276,000 and since the numbers are constantly changing, something close to this would have been fine. The 2 in the equation represents the 2 days that 48 hours represent.
I just put a bunch of points in the bank. I really had no clue about the bank until recently. Interest points are important! Any points are important! Arcade, arcade, arcade.Do you keep your points in the bank? Are you aware of the time of your next interest payment? Are interest points important to you? Did the recent interest rate cut hurt?

I was just thinking about income tax since that is what I have been doing. What if we had an income tax on the points we made as income? Let's hope Anne doesn't see this.I hope that somebody does use the secret word today or we are going to have a big payout tomorrow (3500). What if there was an income tax on that? And what if there was an income tax on the 100,000 points that somebody is going to win? Just a thought...BTW, the new revised KatKwery rules are in my siggy.
you can tell i dont pay bills the whole katkwery etc makes no sense too meOriginally Posted by luvmycat1
I think it would be weird to have an income tax on the points we got for posting. Or any points for that matter. If it was anything like the real income tax you wouldn't be guaranteed to get back what you put in. Now taxing points people win would have to be like windfall tax or whatever they call that. I'll have to check out the new Katkwery guidelines.
Every 48 hours IF you are on The Cat Site when that 48 hours expires. This has been the subject of several KatKwiz questions in the past. When interest was higher, I used to be on The Cat Site doing something every other day when my personal 48 hour clock ran down. Looks like I may dig this question out again for a future KatKwiz.Originally Posted by kluchetta
